Does the type of steel pole, such as raw, galvanized, stainless, or cold rolled, matter on a pole mount?

We recommend using raw steel pipes, which are sometimes referred to as black iron. Although steel pipes with material treatments, like galvanizing or cold rolling can be used, they are not necessary and can be significantly more expensive.
